Note; This race is NOT at the big red auction barn on 101.

Course Description-

The Red Barn Run offers two different distances;

A 5K (about 3 miles) and 10K (about 6 miles)

The course is nestled inland along the foothills of one of the most beautiful valleys on the central coast. The trail consists partly of paved roads and partly dirt trails. It is relatively flat, with just 2 small hills. Click  HERE  to see map of course:  

There will be 2 waves. The 10K will start at 10:00, and the 5K will start at 10:10. All participants will run through the RED BARN FINISH LINE.

Timing-

This year's event will be timed by South Valley Timing Service.Their state of the art chip timing system and expert service will provide accurate results, and they will be posted online the instant you cross the finish line.

Walk or Run-

Even though this event is titled a run, people who want to walk are encouraged to participate as well.

Bib Number Pick Up-

You will sign in and pick up your bib number between 8:00-9:30 AM. Remember, race starts at 10:00 - Sharp!

Race-day registration will be available, however there is no guarantee you will get a T-Shirt. PLEASE get there early.

Safety Rules- 

*No I-pod/music devices will be allowed for obvious safety reasons.

*Course will be marked with spray paint or chalk, please follow the COLORED arrows.

*No pets or baby strollers allowed on the course at any time.

*Please note; This course has paved and dirt trails with a few obsticles. Please follow the arrows.

Post-Race Celebration-

All participants will go through the Red Barn to cross the finish line and enter the celebration area. Here, you will enjoy great live music provided by, Red Beans & Rice, and Dr.T & The Side Effects. You will get to enjoy a yummy BBQ Lunch with water or a beer (for participants 21 years & older) Enjoy a complimentary 10 minute leg massage!! Awards to be announced shortly after the final participant crosses the finish line. 

Spectators-

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come and support. There is plenty of room and the course is very spectator friendly. Please come early to pick a good spot!  Additional BBQ tickets will be available for purchase on location, as well as a beer garden & refreshment booth. These will be served on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the information booth for purchases.

Water Stations-

Water/Gatorade stations will be provided at the start & finish line, as well as on the course itself.

Massage Crew-

At finish area, all participants are invited to enjoy a 10 minute leg massage!!

Awards-

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers of each division (M & F) One GRAND PRIZE will be awarded to each of the best over-all finishers (M & F)
